Innovation

Innovation is one of the steppingstones to growth and development for Venturus, its employees and the entire society.

For Venturus innovation is new ideas and products - and process improvements which, when implemented, generate financial results for our business and clients.

Based on this, Venturus implemented the "i9 Innovation Program" at the end of 2007, which aims at appraising the innovative spirit of the employees. The purpose of the program is to motivate and support the search for new ideas, products and services, apart from the continuous improvement of the existing processes. To ensure continuity to the projects and ideas identified, Venturus also created the Nucleus of Technological Innovation (NTI) with the purpose of managing the internal innovation programs as well as the innovation policy. The nucleus also creates and develops the environment for pre-incubation of these technological business projects.

Innovation Policy

The Innovation Policy at Venturus, based on an Open Innovation Model and the Brazilian Federal Innovation Law, contains the following elements:

• Possibility of participation in other institutions and companies
• Induction and creation of new companies - innovation based spin-offs
• Access to outside R&D from other research institutes and companies
• Close integration with The National Innovation System
